  1. All you could do is replace the dead grass with new sod when you take the pool down.Should cost less then $40.00 if you do it yourself.

  2. Nope.  a Pool will kill the grass no matter what.

  3. No, you can't stop it from dying.  However, the grass will return next spring if the pool is packed up and stored for the winter.  Grass is very good at creeping over to cover bare spots.

Last year my daughter's 12-foot pool left a bare spot, so I turned it into a new flowerbed.  This year the pool is in a different spot, and I'm going to turn that spot into a vegetable garden next spring.

My daughter's fun and comfort, and the joy she gets from her pool, is worth a bare spot in my yard.

  4. no i don't think there is anything you can do. sorry because putting the pool down will kill the grass. i suggest going to a friends house who has a pool and swimming there

  5. try putting it on a pool platform.

  6. nothing you put down will save the grass. it's the lack of sunshine, not so much the pressure of the pool. do you have a patio, or unused portion of a driveway that could be used instead?

  7. the pool will kill the grass there is no way to stop that the weight of the pool will kill the grass lack of water and sun light. sorry there is no way.tell him it will grow back.or Ive seen them put on the drive way. good luck

  8. If you rob the grass of sun you will ruin it.Sorry but nothing will help if the pool goes up.
