Please help me with the Iliad?

I absolutely enjoyed Illiad and I have my mid-term on it. I've answered all of the questions but I'm stumped on one. Can anyone help me?? Here's the question:

The questions are:

1. Describe three interactions between the gods and humans in the Iliad and explain the importance of these interactions to the story line. Include a sample of

a. example of god or goddess stopping a particular action by a human

b. expample of a human approaching a god or goddess for assistance

c. example of a religious rite or sacrifice performed by a god or goddess

  1. Apollo guiding the arrow to hit Achilles' heel and stooping him from killing more Trojans.

    Achilles asking his mother, Thetis for help when Patrocles is slain

    Thetis putting Achilles in River Styx(rite)


  2. a. would be aphrodite? saving paris from menelaus which catalyzed future events

    b.Many of the trojans prayed to Apollo for assistance in the war and the greeks sacked a temple of Apollo

    c. is iffy but i guess u cud put the sea serpents and the disbeliever who was killed by them and they felt it was a sign to accept the horse (irony)
