Please help me with this Windows problem...?

Question

My windows keeps showing me this message: "Automatic Updates are off".When I go to Windows Security Center and click on the ON button,it says that it can't change this setting. So I went to the System in Control Panel,click on the AU tab and...guess what! It says that Automatic Up. are ON!! Can you believe that? How can I fix this problem...It also affects my Corel and other softwares(they don't start)....

I just keep my udates off, if I need an update, I'll do it manually.

Try going to microsoft.com and search automatic updates. It will ensure they are on and help you update your computer.

Go START-->RUN--> sfc.exe /scannow

Let the System File Checker replace any corrupted MS files it finds.

I think your system has been infected with a virus... Or Automatic Update Support has been removed from the system.. Did u  ever use Autopatcher and checked the Remove Update Feature???

http://update.microsft.com might work or just say i monitor my own security don't bother mine
