Please help me with this make-up problem...?

I bought the Maybelline Superstay Silky Make-up in it's lightest shade (I'm fair-skinned). Apperantly, it's to dark on my skin and makes it look orange-y, even if I don't put a lot on. What can I do? I can't take it back, but it's bran-new and I hate wasting it. Please help!

two pumps and one dot on ur fore head cheeks and blend from your cheeks to ur chin and nose make sure you don't go over board.The more you put on the heavier its going to set or use a powder of a diffrent colour to the foundation a lighter one

Try mixing in with a lighter shade or with moisterizier. Or try dabbing some of the color off after applying it with a slightly-damp sponge. I hope this helps!
