well i have 4 friends/ppl who actually like me in my grade. eevryone else thinks im wierd. its all because of rumors. how can ii get to be their friend? i really want to be friends with them but they dont like me. what do i do?

well i think you find out were the rumor started & try & fix that. then work on talkin to people more & more & then they will eventuall ybe ur friends! =]

just try and have a normal conversation with them, if they dont like you for who you are, i kind of have an attitude where i dont give a **** then.

Many people judge before they know the person.This is wrong because we can see faces ,we don't see their hearts. So try to be natural, smile to them and little by little they will see that they were wrong . This is been happening to me almost all my life, but i always winn!   Be yourself a winner by making more friends!!!!!!!!!!

if you start off with the friends that do like you and have then intorduce you to other ppl they are friends of theirs then slowly start branching out and getting to know alot of different ppl. eventually the rumors will go away and ppl will forget.

Well, the thing about school is that there's only a couple hundred people who go to one particular school on average - and there are 6 billion people in the world - so what they think about you doesn't determine who you really are. That said - joining some activities is a better way to break the ice rather than just being in class with some people. Another tool, is have a good friend that you trust give you a critique. Tell them to tell you why they think you are being negatively portrayed, HAVE AN OPEN MIND, and work on issue by issue, one at a time.

talking to people and letting them get to know you is the easiest way to debunk rumors, I've made friends with people I didn't use to like and even found myself saying "wow I was so wrong about you... ".. Just be yourself
