Please help me with this questions about dvd players?

I Have DVD-R movies but they tend to skip in my magnavox dvd player, can someone tell me where to get a dvd player that plays ALL disk's and doesnt skip, can you tell me where to find that and what store it could be at.

if the player its able to play dvd-r discs it shouldn't skip maybe the player is dirty or the dvd-r disc quality its not that good. video games console are very good dvd players for every type of disc they can play, beside that computers are good too.
