well i want a friend to spend the nite b4 school starts on monday so i can have some fun b4 school starts.but my mom keeps saying no and i start school on monday. even on the weekends in the summer she wont let ppl spend the nite. I'm so bored i just wat to have fun b4 school starts and hang out with friends.how do i deal with this!?!?! cuz i just want to scream!i haven't had Friends spend the nite 4 over a month!and i ask nicely but she want change her mind.i think she is being so unfair! and i haven't even had like 7 sleepovers this summer!im so bored!

so please help me!

umm tell ur mom ull do anythin to have ur friend sleep over or make somethin up tell ur mom ur friends parents are leaving town and she needs a place to stay for the weekend before school starts

i am a mom now, but i used to be the same way. i used to love to have sleepovers and go spend the night at my friends.

ask your mom if she can tell you the reason. don't nag! just calmly ask her if there is a particular reason that you can help with that would change her mind. mabey she feels overwhelmed and doesn't want to have any more kids over. or mabey she wants to spend the remaining time before school, with you by herself. does she work regularly? do you have younger brothers and sisters? i have 2 12 year olds and an 8 year old. i work everyday, so it is hard sometimes having guests stay the night. i let them have friends as much as i can. i used to feel the same way though, i used to get so mad when my mom said no. just try to remember there is a reason. good luck!

Maybe your mom needs a break from sleepovers. Maybe she needs some rest before school starts on Monday and having an extra child in the house will not allow her to get the rest she needs. Moms need rest too. Having children in school can be stressful because there is alot to do to get them ready for the start of a new year. Cut your mom some slack. If you have had 7 sleepovers this summer I would say that is plenty.........probably many more than most children.

Find out why your mom won't let you have sleepovers....or see if you can sleepover someone's house instead.

Just because you didn't have sleepover doesnt mean you cant have fun over the summer!
