Please help!! my TV is turning yellow!!! whats wrong? giving best answer!!?

ok. i have a normal not HD insignia TV. everything was fine, but then i went on vacation for 2 weeks, and nobody touched it and it was off. so when i came back and turned it back on, the screen was yellow and after a few minutes it turned back to normal and it does this everytime!! whats wrong and what do i have to do to fix it??

  1. Have a tech adjust the color guns or jets  (whatever they call them these days).

    The color may be going out on it, hopefully, it is still under warranty.


  2. Does the yellow issue occur with the inbuilt analog tuner, or just via the SCART inputs. What is the connection method between the digital box and the display, a fully wired SCART, are both the STB and display expecting RGB or composite.

    The PAL I issue would only effect the tuner (ie off air analog) it will not effect the composite or RGB (SCART) inputs. That said very few displays these days cannot handle all variants of PAL, and PAL B/G and PAL I only really have variance in the sound carriers, so you might not get sound, but should still get pics.
