Please help my bedroom is so bland!?

i asked this question a min ago but the links didnt work.. and nobody would read even further to where the real links are lol

Hi, i'm 15 years old and i can't stand my bedroom. It's all white and it's a huge bedroom i have a 4 pooster bed which has blue sheets and pink pillows, and then a sofa chair and one corner and i'll leave a picture for some of the other parts but what can i do to make it better? i already have colourful windchimes and pictures.. please help.

It is hard to determine the shape of your room, but it looks like it has lots of potential.   Are you allowed to paint the wallls?  If so, put some color up there quick!  If not try to get a new area rug, even if you have to borrow one from another part of the house.  Rearrange your furniture and get that bed away from the wall.  It looks smashed up in the corner and with the angled ceiling, ooh, it wouldn't feel good to sleep there. Buy some inexpensive blank canvases from an art supply store and paint them bright colors.  Hang them together on the wall to make a cool grouping that makes a big impact. You could hang 2 or 3   12" squares over each other above the faux fireplace, instead of the lizard.  Depending on your bedding, the lizard might look good hanging laterally over your headboard, once you move the bed out of the corner. Use the same color that you painted on the canvases as accent colors around the room ( pillows on bed, throw blanket on chair, picture frames, vases, etc ).  Buy the room accesories first, then decide the color for the canvases.  It will be cheaper and easier that way.

You definitely need to get some color in there, I suggest some soft earth tones.  If it is carpeted, choose a soft tone to accent it.  I noticed your open closet, may I suggest a beaded curtain or folding changing curtain or room divider to hide the opening

Well, im sorry if i sound rude but i don't really think that those things above your bed don't really go well with your surroundings. Maybe you should take them down and hang acouple of family pictures there. Try painting the walls a pastel colour like light green or yellow. Pink and purple would look nice but keep it very light, if its too dark people won't feel as relaxed when they walk into the room.

Maybe find a little plant that you can put on the floor that takes your fancy but maybe doesn't need to much sun light or looking after and doesn't grow too big.

            Maybe even watch those shows where they fix up people's room's. Maybe they'll have something that you like.

     These little things can change the atomasphere and look of your room so much.

Edit- Also moving furniture around into different places can change your room alot too!!
