Please help ! my computer won't read any CD ROM !!?

Question

My hardware (the CPU) seems not to accept any of the CD ROM; especially blank CDs. There was never this problem before, it just happened couple of weeks ago. When I insert anything in CD format, the computer won't read. Game, blank disc or anything it just won't read !!! Anybody know what is going on and how to solve this problem? Please help !!!!! Thanks !

your cd socket is probably broken..get it repaired or change the whole cd rom thing
