Please help my friend out, examination under oath what happend if they accuse she lying?

this is a auto accident, the insurance didnt pay anything since then. they couldnt find anything to deny her case but still they accuse everything they can on her. now they invited her to EUO. she came and they asked many things, she answered exactly what they asked for. she still very worried

she wonder when it end and if their conlusion is she lying, is she held accountable for that?

please help us. they just take money, they didnt pay for nothing

i am not clear what the facts of this situation are and will make a few assumptions in an attempt to answer. i assume your friend made a claim with her insurance company. i assume they did not chose to pay the claim immediately but are investigating the facts underlying your friend's claim, including doing the euo,which allows them to preserve her statements under oath.  i doubt they are interested in accusing her of lying,which serves them no purpose. they are looking for inconsistencies in your friend's story and info they can investigate for independent verification.  if the insurance company does not believe her claim, they will simply deny her claim for money damages and she won't get anything. although i suppose they could claim fraud, i very much doubt they would bother.  why so much worry if she is telling the truth?

It doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong. If she lied under oath, she could be in trouble, including jail time.

However, that is not decided by the insurance company, but by the court hearing this case.
