I have glads in my garden which were there when i moved in, well they were everywhere so i decided to "remodel" my flower bed and i moved them around into a more desireable area. well that was on friday and the buds are not separating they way the should and the tips look brown and burned but they are not in a highly sunny area and were thriving before i moved them. the ones that already bloomed i cut the tops off and i dont know if i was supposed to do that. so if anyone has some info on how to care for these flowers it would be greatly appreciated bc this is a new hobby for me :) and for all the flower lovers i transplanted a rose bush almost two months ago and i thought i killed that too but now it has sooooo much new growth over half the plant is red and i cant wait till i start getting buds and blooms!!!!

  1. Sounds like where you moved them; the soil is either over fertilized or has a high acidic makeup.

Since you are new to the yard; you do not know what  the Ph is unless you test.

  2. This is the wrong time of year to transplant bulbs. It is in the Fall we do that.  Try going on some gardening sites or look for gardening books in the library and that will give you lots of information regarding your question.
