he goes on chat sites and pretends to be younger and he does it infront of me and i can hear him laughing while talking to younger girls i dont wanna start an argument with my mum she will confront him and ill be the one in trouble i cant handle it anymore

pedo means when ur father is attracted to people below 18 , r u sure he chats with younger children ? coz bitter truth is many mature men chat with young girls but they r adults above 18

s*x as it is affects all in a different way, if you know and are sure his love and joy in life is to abuse, and mistreat tell some one, h**l tell eveeryone. teachers, parents, law officials, dont be a victim, this is a sick and sorry world, full of sick and selfish people, do what is safe for you, and save everyone u can. if u r not sure talk to a guidance counselor, teacher u respect, or even the officers of the law. all that are serious hold a sacred oath they took, to benefit and not harm others. be true to what your soul tells u.

You have to tell your mother.  No ifs, ands or buts about it.  She needs to know what kind of scum is doing in front of her own children.  If she doesn't do anything, you need to call the police.  Don't be scared.  They'll help you.  You're doing the right thing by telling on him.  He's an adult and should act like a responsible adult.  Just be brave, you will be so glad you did the right thing.

If you think these are serious,

I suggest you make your own log book for 3-4 weeks.

***Write down what time he goes online, the date, and the time he gets off the computer.

*** Keep your log book safe where nobody can find it.

*** Go to http://whatsmyip.org/ and write down your IP address.

*** Ring the police and tell them what has been happening, and you have been making a log book for several weeks, with dates, and times.

*** Tell the police that you want to be anonamous and would like them to Investigate as they can find out everything on your computer.

This way the police can tell your stepdad that they found evidence of this by random search as Police do that these days to catch them.
