  1. I agree with Adrianna. Homeschooling will be a lot cheaper than any of those other schools on your list and you won't need to worry about scholarships. Since you have such high aspirations, I would suggest you look at the classical curriculum method, perhaps a book like "The Well Trained Mind." It's very thorough, and has many good recommendations for curriculum choices to help you and your Mum get started. They also have an online forum which has many, many experienced people to ask for advice from. If you have a riding academy in your area, you can go there, if mum can afford it.

  2. first if you are only in 7th grade that makes you between 11 and 13, so you are a minor.  You Mom needs to do the research and paperwork involved.  As for studen loans, there are grants that she can apply for because she is a single mom she may be able to get your tuition completely paid for, and that should include all fees, but you would have to contact the school itself and ask.  But again this is you moms job.. I feel bad for you!! Its a tough world, and can be a scary place for kids, but if you and your Mom get the process going you can do this.. BTW there are parochial schools too! (catholic schools)

  3. Have you considered homeschool? Research it on-line and if it sounds like it would work out for you, talk to your mom about it.

  4. In Soviet Russia, school have a terrible YOU!

  5. Wow, it is so wonderful to see that atleast SOME of today's youth has determination and ambition - way to go!

It is obviously not an easy process. You and your mother will have to work things out together, but for now, in all honesty, I would try to stick it out in the school you are in. You can consider yourself a big fish in a small pond, if you understand what I mean. It may not be easy, but then again, neither is getting money to transfer schools, right?

Go on google and type in "scholarships". There's a site called FastWeb with thousands of scholarships, and you can apply for as many as you want! That can help you. Other than that, I'd say to just keep your head up and keep your goals high!

  6. Keep your school selection local. Your mom still needs to be able to work to pay the bills. Check your local church for options, or you school municipality office.

  7. i wanted to go to boarding school so badly but my parents wont let me =(

  8. Try looking for 3 or 4 schools that you are interested in. Once you have narrowed it down then call the school's admissions counselor and ask about their particular application policies.
