i want to make a chocolate cornet,but i cant make the shape, and the recipe i have says to rap the dough around a metal cone and bake it, but HOW if the batter is not even dough, it is goo! i did the recipe OVER AND OVER AND STILL NO DOUGH! please give me a chocolate cornet recipe that will ACTUALLY WORK AND NOT GIVE ME GOO please!THANKYOU >_<

    Right start with your flour plain/all purpose now what ever weight of flour you use, use half the weight in fat. So 1lb flour 8oz of fat rub together then add your ice cold water but add 1tblsp at a time until it starts to form a dough ball then use your hands to kneed it together and the rest is simple. DO NOT POUR IN THE WATER JUST ADD A TABLESPOON AT A TIME IF YOU ARE NOT SURE TO ADD ANYMORE USE YOUR HANDS KNEED IT MAKING DOUGH IS ALL DOWN TO TOUCH AND SIGHT.

    what ever quantity of fat you use use half marg and half lard you get a much nicer pastry and thats a promise it also saves you money too!!
