Babydoll, we know it will be on a Thursday. We've picked mostly week days because things are cheaper during the week... I didn't know it was the first day of deer hunting though!

  1. I would pick 10/10/09.  I am getting married on 10/18/08 and I thought it would be easy because of the repeating numbers...0,1,8 :-)

  2. October 1st, is my parents' anniversary, my son's birthday and the first day of deer hunting season. Really easy to remember. But next year it will be on a Thursday and that may affect your choice. I know you want to elope but think about you and your fiance's work schedules.

  3. i think october 10 just sounds like a wedding date. dont know why

  4. October 10 because it is an easy day to remember. The 10 is a great day to have a wedding, it just sounds good.

  5. october 1st is easiest to remember

  6. I'd say pick the day that is a number alot of people you know get married on. I know alot of people who get married around the 20th of any given month so that would be my pick for the easiest to remember.

  7. No one can pick your date but you.  Your date depends on when you reception hall, church or ceremony venue, caterer, photographer and DJ are available.  First book the place, then book all the other vendors.

All these dates may not be available for the date you want so start calling now.  If you do not want anything close to Halloween, then choose something in the beginning of the month.

    Good luck!

  8. the 1st would be easy to remember!!

  9. You don't need to pick an easy day to remember.

Just have the date engraved in your wedding bands.

But if i had to pick I'd say 10/10 is the easiest.

  10. what about october 1st, that would be easy to remember.

  11. I like October 5th, I think it rolls off the tongue well and would be easy to remember, but that is just a matter of personal preference.

  12. October 1st or 5th still nice weather then and then it starts to get cold.

  13. I would pick the 20th since its closer to Halloween, and I personally like even numbers.

  14. 10/10

How much easier can you get?

  15. October 10...The tenth day of the tenth month...the year before 2010 =)

  16. I don't think that we should be picking your wedding date...you should have it be meaningful for the two of you...ask you husband which date he thinks he will remember the best and go with that one...

For me and by husband picking the date was one of the great things about our wedding...don't take that away from yourselves...

    Good luck...
