Please help!! really important!!!?

i think i am getting a stye on my lower eyelid. how long does it take to go away? or make the swelling go down? i start school on the 2nd, do you think it will be gone by then? please what should i do so it will heal faster?

warm compress, 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.  as hot as you can stand it without burning your eye.  there is no other solution, and it's not guaranteed to be gone by school.  also, use a baby shampoo to wash your eyelids DAILY.  that will clean it gently, and help keep the oil glands around your eyes clean.  i get stys all the time, and that's what my eye doctor tells me to do.
