I have been dating this women for 6 weeks now and everything was going great until last night. We had spent the day out on the boat with friends and to say the least we had a few to drink. When we got home last night we were going at it (sexually) when she called me her ex boyfriends name. I immediately got up and walked into the other room. I asked her to stay in bed and not to talk to me. She fell asleep after a little bit and I decided to pack her things (maybe out of haste) and wrote in big letters on a piece of paper by her things MY NAME IS ----- !.

I fell asleep on the sofa until she woke up at 0200 and she asked me if I wanted her to leave, i said nothing. she kept on asking me and saying she was sorry but I just had little to say. As she walked out I made the comment that " A drunk persons words are a sober persons thoughts " and I truly believe in that statement. She has been calling me all morning but I ha vent answered the phone. I have replied to a few of her texts but I just dont know what to say. Can anyone help me to figure out am I being to hard on her or doing the right thing ?

  1. You are being truly childish and petulant. It's a wonder she is even willing to stick around after your little tantrum. It is you, not she, who needs to

    ask for forgiveness.

  2. Geez, man, my own mother used to call me by my sister's or my brother's name a lot when I was a kid, and she was stone cold sober.  It was a slip-up.  And only once.  Let it go.  You could be losing out on a great person.

  3. "just me" is right...

just let it go.... thinks like this may happen...and it doesn't mean she's thinking about her ex.

I think you are over reacting ;)
