Please help...single working mother needs a dependable car asap!!!?

I am 20 years old with a 2-year-old son and a daughter on the way in November. I am in desperate need of a car. I am looking to spend no more than $1500 on something that will get me from Point A to Point B. However, I only have about $500 saved up. If you know a person or place selling a car that will take weekly, biweekly, or monthly payments for a car, please let me know. I do not want to go through the hassle of getting a car financed. Help me with any information you have.

a good car cost $3K to $4,000

keep saving don't buy a junker that will breakdown and cost you more in repairs than buying a better car at the start

look for a carpool or rideshare program

you cannot afford a car at this time
