Please help to download

it takes hours or sometime even days to download a movie. Can please someonehelp to increase the speed to download.

You may have to wait, I always wait, I download often. It all depends on how many seeds you have. But the Acceleration Patch works sometimes, depending on which torrent client you have. just google acceleration patch, it may speed it up so it downloads in less than 30 minutes

Have you considered buying or renting it instead.  That way everyone gets paid and the film company will have enough money to finance a new film.

If you are downloading for free then where is the incentive for people to make new films?

If your useing Dialup forget it. You'l need DSL COMCAST or Verizon.

It's a normal thing that video downloads are always slow, specially from youtube. Their server is always busy. so be patience.

and were do you get the vidz from?

First of all what kind of Internet Service are you using? 56K? DSL? Sattelite? Cable?

Movies (depend on the quality and type) take about 500MB to well over 3-4GBs.

If you are using a Cable or DSL it might take you half a day to completely download a 500MB movie.

This also depends on the party that is UPLOADING the movie to you.. If he is uploading a 500MB movie with the speed of 3KBPS then it might take a week!

If you are downloading your movie from someone right now make sure other applications that have access to internet and might download something are not open. If they are shut them down.

A lot has to do with the connection speed. Are you connected at 50 kbps or lower? That is just the possible connect speed. The download will vary usually around 5 to if you are lucky 20 kbps. Plus the modem in your PC may not handle much more. Honestly if you have access to DSL or (expensive Cable) you will be wowed at the improvement.

Had a friend with a Laptop with the same problem, Swapped it for another (same Brand of modem, same problem) After changing to a different type of laptop with a different type of modem the problem miraculously disappeared.
