Hi. My friend who is Mongolian currently is in Malaysia. She studied there and several months ago left there. Her visa validity has expired already in February. She wants to back home but she's afraid of immigration office because of her visa expiration. Please, advice us what does she have to do?

She might get some kind of penalty or something for staying after the visa expired. Even if she stays, but then caught by the officials, she would still be deported. It is much better to go back to Mongolia as soon as possible

When she goes back to the immigration office and they find out her visa expired, they are going to send her back home. You said that is what she wants, so what is the problem?
