my husband are ready to adopt a baby or child does anyone no of a adoption agency near springfield, missouri? if you could help we both would really appreciate it

Not really sure about there. But I am a foster parent in Kentucky and I know that as far as adopting goes, it is a whole lot easier to adopt through foster care rather than doing it on your own. And here, all you pay is court costs...

That is a very good idea ..adopting kids..children are precious and makes the family complete..the only thing i would  say is.more power to u and your husband..i don't know about missouri but hope u can get some answers on this.

Well how's this for an idea? Don't adopt! Or if you do adopt a child from Foster Care. Have you looked into AdoptUSkids.org? There are truly many children who need good stable loving homes that are waiting. Sadly alot of these kids won't be adopted because they are seen as "damaged goods" Oh and I suggest you look at the question "I adopted a six year old and it isn't working out, can I return him?" Sick making stuff, but then again adoption is sick making stuff. Think long and hard before you decide to do this, read and read and read! The Primal Wound by Nancy Verrier, The Girls Who Went Away by Ann Fessler, The Baby Thief about Georgia Tann. Because all those books have true things in them and will open your eyes. Many will tell you adoption has changed, I am here to tell you it hasn't. Coercion is alive and well in America. You better open your eyes now before it is too late.
