Please help us with names!?

Question

my girlfriend is pregnant and were thinking about names were kinda i wouldn't say "hippies" lol but were pretty down to earth people and werewere trying to find a name like that.. were up for any suggestions we found out its a boy but you can say girl names to because you never no lol we like some common names but were looking for more of an unique down to earth name

so far we like

Jerry ( of course after Jerry Garcia )

Laken

and Skyler

for a boy

and we kinda like

Skylee for a girl but my girlfriend knows someone with that name so its iffy ..

tell us what you think with those names and if you have any you can share would be great

Jerry seems a little old-fashioned to me (it's my boyfriend's dad's name), and not very original.

Laken just makes me think of Clay Aiken, lol I don't know why.

I would pick Skyler, and why not just Skye for a girl?

I like them all! My favorite is definetly Laken. Have you ever thought about taking the N off? Lake is a really cute name for a girl. i also like Skylar for a girl or boy. Jerry is also a really great name. Skylee is a really pretty name. Never heard of it. Original!

Skyler is a cute name for a boy. And if its a girl what about Skyla? That way its almost the same as your original name but you don't know anyone with it.
