Please help why is new trial pair lenses blury

Hi i just got my trial pair contact lenses. They are toric. Why is it that they are blury i cant see that well with them like for example words from a distance.

Also how do you know if the contacts are on the right side? I acidentally put them on the wrong way and it hurt like h**l. How do i know the bowl shape method dosent seem to work.

It isn't normal not to see well, but with torics, sometimes several trials have to be done to find the one that will work best for you...that's why they are called trials. They will probably have to try another brand, or change the axis on those ones.

With your lens fairly wet, hold it gently between your thumb and index finger, without touching the edges, gently squeeze it together, if the edges go towards each other like a taco shell, they are ok...if the edges try to flare outwards, they are inside out.
