1) 7{-7+8[5-3(4+6)]}

the answer should be "-1449" for #1. (looked in back of the book)

2) - { - [ - ( - (-10))]}

please explain step to step. i am totally lost

for the second one, you have tyo work out from the 10, so youd go opposite of -10, which is 10, then the opposite of that, which is -10, then the opposite of that, which is 10, then the opposite of THAT, which is -10. so youra answer is -10
