Please help with bit rate on itunes!?!?!?!?

ok so i want to make all the bit rate the same on itunes, only thing is i dont no how...but i no there is a way coz my brother did it to some of my older stuff on there...i can't ask him now though...

so if anybody knows please tell me!

first thing to do is make sure that your settings within importing are where you want them....

to do that, you have to go to "edit" then go to "preferences" from there you will want to go to the "advanced" tab. in there you have general, import, and burning. adjust your settings where you want them. like mine are set to MP3 and 192K bit rate.....

after doing that, you will want to select the songs you want to convert, you can hold shift while highlighting the first to last selection, it will select all the titles between as well. or hold ctrl and select them one at a time...

after doing that, go to the 6th option on the top of the iTunes screen which is the "advanced" option, drop it down, and in there select "convert selection to MP3" it is the 4th option....

then depending on how many songs you have, either wait a few minutes, or run a marathon, afterwards, you can remove all the different bit rated songs that are in your library..
