Please help with digital camcorder issues!!?

Question

My son bought a samsung SC-MX10 NTS C digital camcorder. It records fine and we can veiw what we've recorded on the cam itself and on the t.v. But when we try to veiw it on the computer using the (Lexar) memory card or by plugging the cam to the computer, all we can hear is sound. The files are transferred successfully, but there is no picture. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. We have a hp computer with Vista.

Your computer is probably missing a codec to play the video properly.  Try using the VLC player.
