  1. Hang some art work in your bathroom that has a little of the lavender in it.  Pick another color from the picture that you like for the shower curtain & accessories.

Mine has a tree frog on a purple iris with the iris going through some celtic knotwork.  It has purples and greens in it with gold knots.  My walls are a light green with the lavender shower curtain.

  2. that looks and sounds as relaxing as my lavender bathroom , i used these silk grenn curtains that go perfectly with lavender , and there with blue and white on the sides , the shower curtain can be a icy light blue yellow goes perfectly too  , somthing moody and steady and realxing ! good luck hope i helped !

  3. A light sage green would look great with the lavender.

You could also paint the walls a different color.

  4. I agree, green looks good with purple, as do shades of orange.  Try either peach, or a bright orange.

  5. Green goes well with the purple palette. Saw it in a docorating mag

  6. As an interior designer may I suggest using "sage green".  This color choice will bring out the wood tones in your oak and will accent your lavender walls.  You will find sage in all of your choices for window treatments, towels, rugs and etc. very easily. You can purchase towels in both lavender and sage to pull the cohesive look together and your bath will look both charming and pulled together.

    Happy Decorating!

  7. Clear curtain and off white curtain. Go for neutral and get away from dark colors. It was promoted by the paint companies so that you get sick of it and repaint yearly.

  8. I am currently moving into a house that has a lavender bathroom...  I found a good primer is a great solution (I hate the color).  Me and my wife opted for "Burmuda Sand" on the walls, with a "Palm Green" trim, and dark chocolate shower curtain and bath mat.  If you insist on lavendar, you can always try to match the oak color in a curtain.
