I currently have this grapg

the equation is: y = (5x-x^2)^(1/2)

my assignment is to change the equation to turn it into this

  1. So basically, you are asked to take the graph 4 point to the right and stretch it based on the y axis so that it has length 2 times of the original.

    To take the graph to the right, you need to change all the x into (x-4)

    So:

    y becomes (5(x-4)-(x-4)^2)^(1/2)=(-x^2+13x-36)^(1/...

    After that, to stretch it into 2 times of the original length in y axis, you need to multiply the equation with 2. So y becomes 2((-x^2+13x-36)^(1/2))
