Please help with my computer!

my computer has been really slow for the past 2 years i suspect its because of my brother who watches too much pornography. is there any way to get any free virus scans and any thing that would make it fast again? or should i just restore the hard drive? Thanks.

  2. dude when u watch pornography sites they send adwares,spywares and most of the time keyloggers to your computer.but still if ur bro watches ---- reinstall windows and make two partition of it.in one store your data and in the other store windows.when your computer gets slow (it will as ur bro watches -----) reinstall windows without losing any valuable data

  3. Use Avast - http://www.avast.com or AVG - http://free.avg.com/ for a virus scanner.

    Also you might want to check for any ad software by using the following programs, I would install both and run them:

  4. You are probally infested with spyware and adware not to mentin a few virsues here and there...

    1) Get a full free 30 day trial of Bitdefender Total Security 2008 and run a scan.. you can get it free here:

    2) Get a free version of spysweeper here

    Those two alone will clean up alot of the mess....

    For the hard drive you can defrag it to speed it up...use a copy of diskeeper free here:

    Clean out your fans with air can computer cleaner.....

    Run all of those and you will be tip top and more secure than Fort Knox...

  6. If you don't need anything on the drive then I would restore it. You will benefit the most from it, although it will take a while to get everything back on.
