Please help with phone question.?

As of now my current cell phone service provider is Verizon Wireless. I love their service and everything, but I don't like my phone. My question for everyone is can you buy a phone and have them just switch your number to it? Can you do this without the administrative (main phone lines) being there?

Yes, you can.  But if you buy it there, they want you to sign a new contract -- or else the phone costs a lot more.

There is even a way to just call a number and have it done without leaving your house, but you'll have to ask them that one.
