Please help with sweating?

Question

I use plenty of 24h anti perspirant and yet i find that my right arm sweats more than my left. and i have to be carefull of what i wear as for getting sweat marks and i am very concious about it.

What do you think is the problem and how can i stop it?

Overactive sweat gland.

My mother had this after an operation on her shoulder joint, the surgeon somehow affected the sweat gland under her arm.

Have you had an operation or something sever happen to the arm in question?

Once again - consult a doctor.

I have a similar problem and was advised to put alcohol directly on my skin, that surprising was not irritating, however I found an answer to my specific problem in a website which link I'm leaving below.

I used to have the same problem.  It probably happens because you are so concious of it, so makes you sweat more because you are worried about sweating, like a cycle.

Just stop worrying and it will happen less!

Also make sure your deoderant dries before putting on your clothes.

if you explain to the gp your situation they can prescribe some talc to help with the problem. you put the talc on after a shower and before you go bed ensuring you wash under the armpits first. my sister had teh same problem now she doesnt suffer with it as much due to the talc.

you stress to much you need to relax and cool down also your to energetic or you blood levels are high or you might be wearing clothes which are too warm then again just keep on using deodorant i think you have a bo problem hun =]

I know just the thing, panic no more!  I had that exact condition, I'd sweat under my arms but it never smelt.  It meant I couldn't wear certain tops ect.  Fear not, I used PERSPEREX & I sweat no more!!  It's not like your bog standard anti perspirant, you apply every other evening & the results are fantastic.  Try it..
