The last name is Sagulo, and I can't figure if its italian or spanish....For example a common surname name in Italy is Gargiulo...and theres Angulo which is Spanish I suppose

What is the origin of Sagulo...or the last 3 letters ULO..Where does this derive from?

THANKS =)

  1. The following information came from www.ancestry.com

    there was nothing for the surname Sagulo

    Gargiulo Name Meaning and History

    Southern Italian: probably from a diminutive of Sicilian gargia ‘jaw’, ‘mandible’ or Calabrian gargia ‘open mouth’, presumably applied as a nickname.

    ANGULO Name Meaning and History

    Spanish: habitational name from Encima-Angulo in Burgos province.

  2. I was curious because nothing really comes up on the Sagulo on searches. The surname apparently is common in Argentina. Perhaps something in the History of Argentina, or posting on a message board from this Country can give you your answer.
