  1. Greenhouses are made of glass

Civil war is contained within a country (against itself, in effect)

All months have (at least) 28 days

A hole has 0 cubic yards of dirt in it

    1 nickel and 1 quarter (one isn't a nickel, it's a quarter)

All of those times can occur after 3pm

  2. i know the answer for:

In baseball, how many outs are there in an inning?

                          the answer is 6...

  3. In baseball, how many outs are there in an inning?

    C.6

  4. Civil wars are fought within countries, so Spain was the only country involved in the Spanish Civil War. So it's E, none of the above.

Baseball question: C, because both teams need 3 outs.

The "thumb" answer depends on how you define a finger:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumb#As_on...

It could be C or D.

Australia question: This is a trick question because Greenland is already the largest island. Australia is a continent, not an island.

  5. Spanish Civil War -- a civil war is a war that is internal to the country (The American Civil War was between the US North and the US South, right?) -- so the answer is E.

Birth Defect -- probably 11, since only 11 of the digits are identifed as "fingers."  We know they don't want us to count the toenails.  The only question is, are they calling thumbs fingers.  My guess is no, which is why the are specifying thumbs separately from fingers.  -- so the answer is C.

The Baseball Inning Outs -- the answer is six.  The reason it is a trick question is that we want to say "three strikes and you're out," and we want to say, "three outs and the team goes to the field."  But there are two halves to an inning: each team gets three outs -- so the answer is C

Australia sinks -- the answer is E, because the question asks "which ...would become the...NEW largest island."  None of the islands listed would be new.

  6. i have taken this exact quiz but i don't know if i got all the answers right but i think i did. i got them by going onto Google and typing in the question and there is bound to be some one who knows the answer. :)

  7. THE BIRTH DEFECT ONE: 25 because the thumbs are inculded IN the 11 FINGERS and Thumbs are fingers!!!
