Please help with this question,it's really important?

I want to ask a question about two minors of the ages 15 and 16 that are having a baby and the mother of the child is living with the father in an apartment,and when she has to give birth can they just go to the hospital with the fathers Gaurdians,or do the mother of the child parents have to be there too??

  1. dont listen to that person trying to push adoption down your throat...

    Im not sure about there but if i was you i was encourage them to call and ask, or talk to their midwife/obgyn. But if she doesnt want her parents there then i dont think the hospital would force it.

  2. I am fairly positive that there is no need for anyone other than the actual parents to be at the birth unless the parents request it.

  3. I would be more worried about being charged for rape if I were the young lad in question.

  4. I doubt they need any parents there at all.  Privacy with HIPPA includes parents.  And they likely are eligible for medi-caid, even if they have private insurance due to HIPPA as well.

    It sounds like privacy is a concern -- how are they going to take care of this baby??  Especially if the parents are not that involved?

    Please encourage them to consider adoption -- they are just children themselves and deserve to finish childhood -- and their baby deserves a stable home.
