Question

i've got both photoshop and corel paint shop pro i need help on where to go on either to make my photo black and white wit just one color in the pic, and i also need to know how to make it where there is just a black background behind the pic

I cant tell you where coz i just learned by playing around.. easy way to do it.. desaturate the picture to black and white.. in photoshop.. then use the history brush(your gonna have to change the sizes of brush for different subjects) depending on how steady your hand is.. use the brust staright onto the subject you want to make colour again.. play around with it and if you zoom in you should be able to get the edges correct..

I know there is other ways but i tend to do things the long way i think.. it gets the job done tho!
