    I'm not sure if you have to be a member to get the super good deals or not. Anyway. Definitely look into it. It's what my family uses and we get very cheap vacations that are worth much more!

  2. If you live in or near NY City, Miami, or Seattle you can do a one day cruise on a Norwegian Cruise line ship.  Prices start at under $100 per person and since the cruises do not go anywhere other than out into the ocean you will not need a passport.  Check out the NCL site or this link:  http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruisesearch/c...

    Just for your information, all cruises are typically priced based on a rate of about $125 to $175 per day per person.

  3. All cruises require a passport because returning from the open sea, you have been outside the United States. Contact Carnival. They have one day sales almost every Thursday. Tell them I refered you. randall_nd@yahoo.com

  4. You will not find a cruise for four people for under $500 total.  Even a three night cruise for four people in the off season will cost more than $500.

    If you are looking at $500 per person that can be done.  You can look into three, four and five night cruises.  Inside cabins cost the least.  Then ocean view and balconies.  Suites are the most expensive.  The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas and the time right after New Years are inexpensive times to cruise (please note, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are expensive times to cruise - you have to book around these holidays).

    As to the passport issue, this can also be done.  However, time is limited.  The following is from the US Department of State ...

    LAND AND SEA TRAVEL

    The following summarizes information available on the Department of Homeland Security’s website.

        * CURRENTLY:

          U.S. citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport card (available in spring 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate.

        * LATER:

          On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of WHTI.  The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or WHTI-compliant document.

    Note that after June 1, 2009 EVERYONE will need a passport.

  5. You won't find that price for 4 people in total.  You will find that price for $500 each person.  Plus you HAVE to have a passport to go on a cruise now.  They don't even let you book them unless they have your passport number.

    You will be spending well over 500 in passport prices just to get your passport, and way more if you need them rushed.

    At most you will be spending at least 5,000 if not more to book a cruise with the whole family.

  6. lol.... don't make me laugh....

    you won't find those prices.  and you need a passport for most of the cruises...

    only if is a cruise from Alaska to some place in Seattle or Cali.... but not for 500 bucks...

    get real.
