  1. There are adapters you can buy as long as your item you have has a range between 110 and 240 v otherwise it will blow your item has to be dual voltage.

Otherwise you have to buy a transformer.

are you moving there?if yes buy transformers depending how strong they are they can range between 60$ and a couple hundred $.

If you go there for vacation its not worst it to buy an transformer.

  2. Yes there is.  Go to a travel or luggage store.  I think comp usa sells them to.

  3. Sure, you can get them when you get there. If you are going with the military, they will most likely provide some. If you are going just for a vacation, will airlines even let you take something that needs power.

  4. You can buy adapters to turn the US 120v to a European 220v plug.

  5. Yes, you can buy a voltage converter or transformer, however, you cannot adjust for the cycle rate. In the USA, the cycle rate is 60hz and in Europe, especially Germany and Spain, electricity is on 50hz cycle.

Your appliances will work with the voltage converter, however, its life span will be shortened due to the cyclic rate differential.

  6. Yes there are. Also, some apparatus (like electric razors),  have a switch so that you can run them on either the US  or the EU voltages . And most mobile phone chargers will automatically set themselves to the right voltage (motorola certainly do). But  take care you check carefully before plugging in any electrical items because  UK/EU  AC supplies are 240 volts (nominal),  so could bite you hard!

  7. Yes there are
