  1. ok take a deep breath.  Just don't mess with her the first few weeks.  You acting weird around her is going to freak her out a whole lot more than you acting like normal.

  2. My rabbit had seven babies four weeks ago.  She is very big anyway so I didn't realize she was pregnant.  I just treated her the same as always.  She was a big eater and drinker anyway and I gave her plenty of Timothy Hay so her babies are very healthy.  Right before she will start pulling hair from her belly and making a nest for  them.  Rabbits are only pregant for 30 days.  You can hold the babies as soon as they are born.  The mom won't reject them.  They are born without hair and their eyes are closed.  They start to get fur after a few days and their eyes open at twelve days old.  The mom usually only feeds them once in the middle of the night so don't think she isn't feeding them.  You can tell she fed them because they will be toasty warm.  Put vitamin drops in the water for extra nutrition.  I also put dry oats on top of her food.  At almost five weeks old the bunnies are drinking water and eating pellets and timothy hay.  They can be weaned from their mom at 6 to 8 weeks of age.  A small breed will have about three babies, a medium breed will have around five, and a large breed can have around 10.  Mine is a french lop and she had seven.  Good luck.  You can email me with any questions.

  3. I agree with Heather, calm down, make sure she has waht she needs, do your research, then leave her alone and allow yourself a smile. :)
