can breastfeeding affect your period?

i got my period once but that was like a month and half ago. i don't have the symptoms of being prego. had s*x twice once with condom the other without but he did not *** inside me.

should i take the pregnancy test or wait a bit longer?

Just wait until the next month to see what happens. If nothing, then take the test!

Yeah, breastfeeding does mess with your cycle!  For many women it takes many months before their period first returns.  Then when it does return, your cycle is likely to be off for the duration of breastfeeding.  So it will be normal to go a couple months between periods while you continue to breastfeed  :)

Breastfeeding can absolutely affect your period. I still haven't gotten mine. But you did have unprotected s*x, so I would take a home pregnancy test just to make sure.

just do like purplerose says, then take the test, until then enjoy your self & your child.

Yes, I had no period while breast feeding. You still may want to take a prego test for precaution, but its normal not to have a period.
