my mom complaines about me being "too picky" at "such a young age". she seems to think that you have to be like 20 to care anything about your apperance. so, she doesnt let me wear makeup. i HAVE to do something! its just TERRIBLE!!! pleaseeee help!

im giving 10 points away for the best advice.

thank you soooo much!!

  1. make sure that you are washing your face enough and moistureizing too. i would look for a sunburn cream too, and possibbly a mask.

as for undereye circles, i recomend an orange lipgloss before concealer.

  2. well, you could wash your face and use acne products to get rid of the zits. as for the sunburn, that shouldnt last long.

  3. Ok, first of all, to help get rid of the sunburn, take some ibuprofen to help keep the fever out of it. Put aloe gel with lidocaine on the affected area, and be careful not to get it in your eyes, it will sting! Also be sure to drink lots of water and moisturize with an oil free moisturizer. These steps will help naturally take the red out of the burn

As for your zits, some of the steps mentioned before like drinking water and using a oil free moisturizer will help. Also be sure to spot treat with benzoyl peroxide or saliclyic acid. Gently wash your face twice a day, use a toner after each washing (I use witch hazel), and moisturize after your spot treatment.

For dark circles, keep using the Garnier eye roller at least twice a day. It has completely erased my dark circles! And remember, do not rub your eyes or the under eye area. Dark circles are pretty much bruises, and pressure causes them to get worse. Try a cold compress at night or keep your eye roller in the fridge, because cold helps, too.

As for getting your mom to let you wear makeup, have you asked in a nice, mature way if you can start wearing powder foundation or a tinted moisturizer? A lot of moms don't see this as the full step to makeup, and it could be a good starting point for you. Once she sees you are using these products responsibly and caring for your skin, she may be open to letting you try other things.

    Good luck with everything! ♥

  4. Just tell your mom concealer or foundation makes you look pretty and you won't go to school till you have it! As for the dark circles and eyeshadow problem, take a light eyeshadow and put it over the dark circles, than cover up the reddish eyeshadow looking stuff.

  5. put a thick lotion on ur sunburn and use acne cream on ur zits. make sure u clean ur face 2. and even tho it is wrong to go behind ur moms back, go buy some cover up or comething that will take a little of the redness away and the zits will be less noticable
