ok, so at the beach, i usually get like 2-3 henna tattoos just for fun.

but they always get really light like in a couple days! even when i don't go into a pool or the ocean.(although i do lay out in the sun) how do you prevent them from fading super fast?

*and this year im getting one on the back of my neck, on my left side of my stomache, and on my ankle, if you needed to know where i'm getting them.!

i just want to know if they'res a cream or something to keep them from fading, or any tricks.!

thanks. :D

  1. Leave the henna paste on your skin for a longer time - it will stain more and will, therefore, last longer.

  2. Dont get it wet.

  3. dont get henna no more

my best freind died from it when we was on holiday

and my other freind had 1 done and it left a big scar and it started ripping his flesh it got badly infected aswell

  4. All pigments and colourants are rated by called a "Blue Wool scale" This scale is used to determine the weather-ability of pigments to outdoor exposures. The scale goes from 1 to 8, 1 being low (less than a day) to 8 being high (about a week) in direct sunlight. Most pigments that are classed as food safe (being suitable for colouring food containers or prolonged exposure to human skin), are rated quite low.

My best suggestion is to limit the amount of rubbing, getting it wet or exposure to direct sunlight, this may extended the tat to maybe to 1 to 2 weeks.

  5. baby oil is better but there is baby power too

  6. To make your henna darker and last longer, make sure your skin is very clean and use some rubbing alchohol to clean it first.

Make sure you use absolutely the best henna and essential oils to make your henna.

Leave the henna on the skin for 6 hours or longer, and remove the paste by scraping it off or using  lemon juice.

Avoid water for 24 hours, and remember the hands, feet arms and legs stain darkest and last longest.

The skin is thicker and has more layers for the dye to  penetrate.

The stomach and the face and neck will not get nearly as dark and won't last nearly as long as  legs or arms or hands and feet.

You can help protect the hennaed skin by using a good  natural coconut, shea or even olive oil on it.

STay away from petroleum products like vaseline or baby oil.

You can get great henna here and do it yourself.
