  1. try manual removal instructions

  2. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

It happened to me. Install this software run it and it will be gone, guarenteed. I had a bit of troulbe when it was trying to load, just hit cancel until it works. Trust me, it will work.

  3. A friend had the exact same problems. It took a great deal of effort to completely clean her PC from these nasty things.

This is a long answer. Print it out.

I assume you're using Vista or XP. This guide will work for either of them.

First, you'll need to get 4 bits of software.

    1. Vundo Fix: http://vundofix.atribune.org/

    2. VirtumundoBeGone: http://secured2k.home.comcast.net/tools/...

    3. ATF Cleaner: http://majorgeeks.com/ATF_Cleaner_d4949....

    4. SUPERAntiSpyware Free Home Users: http://www.superantispyware.com/superant...

Do all these below steps, regardless if a certain application finds anything or not.

    Stage A:

    1. In Windows, install and run Vundo Fix.

    2. Click the Scan for Vundo button.

    3. Once scanning is complete, click the Remove/Fix Vundo button. If nothing found, close application.

    4. If something is found, you will be asked if you wish to remove the infected files. Click the Yes button. Your desktop will possibly go blank at this stage, so don't worry.

    5. When done, it will ask you to shutdown the computer, click the Ok button to do so.

    6. Power up computer and it should be gone.

If Vundo Fix DOES find something but can't remove it, install and run VirtumundoBeGone and follow the basic instructions on screen.

If Vundo Fix doesn't find anything, move on to next step.

    Stage B:

    1. Install SUPERAntiSpyware with the default install settings.

    2. Launch the application.

    3. You will be asked to update the application, click YES. If it doesn't ask you, click the Check For Updates button.

    4. Under the Configuration and Preferences section, click the Preferences button.

    5. Click the General and Startup tab.

    6. Under Start-Up Options, uncheck Start SUPERAntiSpyware when windows starts.

    7. Click the Scanning Control tab.

    8. Under Scanner Options, firstly, uncheck everything.

    9. Under Scanner Options, check these ONLY:

    ........a)Close browsers before scanning.

    ........b)Scan for tracking cookies.

    ........c)Terminate memory threats before quarantining.

    10. Click the Close button to exit the control center.

    11. Exit the program completely.

    12. DO NOT SCAN AT THE MOMENT.

NEXT: Print all this out because you'll be booting your computer in Safe Mode and your printer drivers won't be loaded.

    13. Boot into Safe Mode. NOT Safe Mode with Networking.

    14. Find the downloaded ATF-Cleaner and install/run it.

    15. Under Select Files to Delete, select: Select All.

    16. Click the Empty Selected button.

    17. At the top of the application, click FireFox and then select: Select All.

    18. Click the Empty Selected button.

    19. It will ask you if you want to keep your passwords. Choice is yours.

    20. Click Exit on the Main Menu to shutdown the application.

    NEXT - Stage C:

    1. Re-run SUPERAntiSpyware.

    2. Under the Scan for Harmful Software, click the Scan your Computer button.

    3. In the left column, make sure C:/Fixed Drive is checked.

    4. In the right column, under Complete Scan, select Perform Complete Scan.

    5. Click Next button.

    6. Get a drink, dinner, shower, whatever. It will take a while. It took my friends PC almost an hour.

    7. Once scanning complete, a Scan Summery box will popup with the possible nasties.

    8. Click Ok.

    9. Make sure everything has a checkmark next to it and click Next.

    10. It will tell you Quarantine and Removal is Complete.

    11. Click Ok.

    12. Click Finish to return to the main menu.

    13. It should then ask you to reboot. Do it and restart computer normally – not safe mode.

Your computer should be clean and perfect now.

NEXT: One more step, to create a new fresh restore point. Which will stop reinfection from an old restore point. Best to be safe.

    1. Create a System Restore Point.

    2. Go to Start Menu--->Run and key in Cleanmgr

    3. Click Ok. It will now scan your computer. Takes about 5 minutes.

    4. Click the More Options tab.

    5. Click the Clean Up button in the System Restore section. This will delete all previous restore points which will have copies of the virus files. It will not delete the very latest restore point you just created.

    The end. :-)

  4. restore pc?

  5. Yep it's definately infected with a trojan. Virtumonde or Monder is common. Try Trend Micros HOUSECALL

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

  6. Malwarebytes is the best!!  I downloaded it and in less than five minutes I was and still am virus FREE!!!!!  The program is also freeware.

  7. You can find manual removal in these pages

    Warning! Win32/privacyremover.M64:

    http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-702...

    Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde:

  8. Your system is infected with adware. Install Spybot-Search&Destroy, update its definitions and run a scan on your system Spybot- is a freeware, lite on your system, effective than most paid ones and scans for 1,00,000 infections and removes them using its secure shredder.

  9. Unless you are a computer professional, I highly recommend against using any manual process for deleting spyware.  I've seen way too many people really mess up their computer this way.

Spend the $30 and get Spyware Doctor - it is the best antispyware available.  It has won numerous awards and has a very good reputation.

One other thing about manual deletion, if you do happen to get luck and remove it without damaging anything else, chances are you are going to get infected with spyware again so your best bet is to just get Spyware Doctor as it comes with a highly effective real time protection agent.

    Best of luck.
