Please i need some information about media and ethnicity in US?

am not an american or from english speaking countries ,,i have a topic to be made about ethnicity and media in the united states , so what do you propose as an outline and what are the main issues that i must tackle , i want to know your opinion, please help me because i v heard that the americans are so helpful. i hope i have not made mistakes
