Back in the 70s as kids we played a board game and I want to identify it. Here is what I remember. And by the way, it's not The Game of Life.
We played it as my cousins' place. They're a military family who were stationed in England in the late 50s and early 60s so the game could be British in origin.
Roll one die, move along a path and be the first to reach the end. From what I remember, that is the purpose of the game. I don't think money was involved and I can't remember if players draw cards.
What makes this game interesting is the "mountain" (in the middle of the square board) which rotates 60 degrees, I think every time a six is rolled. The mountain has three pathways over it which affect the path the players follow.
I've searched the internet and have found nothing. If I knew the name of the game then I could find more about it, like a photo or even the manufacturer. It's hard to search for something I don't know the name of.
Heard of this game? Know what I'm talking about?
