I am in the IB program at my school. I got a 2010 on my SAT but ill have that up past a 2100 for sure by January. I also got a 28 on my first ACT yet I plan to take it again. I'm involved in many services and clubs and am on the cross-country and track team at my school. The only thing I'm worried about is that my GPA may be too low. Emory uses an unweighted scale so right now I'm sitting at a 3.3... A teacher told us all that colleges don't take off the ten points, so I slacked off a little, but Emory does take off and I feel I may have hurt my chances of getting in this past year. I'll be able to raise my GPA to an unweighted 3.4 and possibly as a high as a 3.7 weighted this semester before I apply. If anyone has a good idea of what it takes, can you pleaseeeee tell me. I'm worrying my *** off

  1. Youll be fine.

  2. The only people who can truly answer this question are the people at Emory, but it does look like you have a good chance of being accepted or either going on the wait list. A 3.3 is not a bad GPA, especially since you seem to be a well-rounded student. Do you speak any languages? Have you traveled?
