I have a graph with resistance down one side and diameter on the bottom with a line of best fit. I have worked out the gradient to be 4.77. but if the gradient is positive then it means that as the diameter increase so does the resistance, which isnt right. what does the gradient mean then? what does it prove?

  1. Maybe you've got the diameter and resistance the wrong way round. Maybe the diameter should be down one side and the resistance should be along the bottom. Ive always been taught that the resistance should go along the bottom so it could be that??

    Hope this helps

  2. maybe she gets a kick out of you reminding her that she should read her text books because now your starting to swear
