  1. The largest, indoor gage model trains is G used by LBG, about 3 1/2 inch.  O gage r-rail is by Lionel, HO is two rail, maybe 3 or 4 inches wide (2 rail), N gage is still narrower, the smallest gage.

  2. Broad Gauge in India is 1676 mm.  This gauge is used too in Argentina, Bangladesh, Chile, Iran (one line) and Pakistan.

There are other gauges that qualify as "broad":  1524 mm is used in Russia and other USSR former countries, Finland, Mongolia, some sections of border lines in China, two branches into Afghanistan and one line each in Poland, Romania and Slovak Republic.  1600 mm gauge is used in Australia and Brazil.  The gauge is measured from the inside border of the railheads.

  3. Gauge is the Distance between the inside face of the rails, Broad gauges arre any wider than Standard, ranging from just over 7ft

(Brunel's Broad Guage) to barely over standard (4'8 1/2").

Conversely narrow guage includes all gauges narrower than standard. The wikipedia site below gives a non-exhaustive range of Broad Gauges used.

  5. There is a fairly common gage when speaking of broad gage, which is five feet, though, as rightly pointed out above, the range can be greater.
