  1. i remember at about 18 weeks my hips went thru a stage where they really hurt a lot, no matter how i sat or layed it wouldn't take long before it would become uncomfortable and it hurt to walk too. it only lasted for a couple of weeks and my hips have just started to ache a little bit again at 35 weeks. those aches and pains are completely normal during pregnancy. every woman experiences different levels of uncomfortable symptoms tho.

  2. I had that exact same thing - I went to the ER because I could not TAKE it anymore. Turns out my low back pain was being caused by very small contractions of my uterus (ones I was not aware of except some cramping which I thought was fine). Well, to make a long story short it IS okay the contractions are so minor they are not doing anything to my cervix.

Of course, pregnancy back pain can be anything but since I have stopped the contractions (merely by drinking TONS of water and treating what we think is an untreated UTI) it has gotten a lot better - the small contractions were putting a lot of strain on my lower back. It's great you have an appointment, they should be able to help!

  3. First, I will pray for you and baby and all the rest since you have other lives depending on you.

Second, I know that a woman's ligaments and things stretch out to prepare her body to expand and sometimes that can cause a lot of pain, especially the sneeze, gasp, shriek feelings that come when your pelvic ligament stretches when you cough or sneeze.

Three, the doc is the only one who can really help narrow down what is going on and treat it. I even had to take some pain pills in my last pregnancy for constant migraines and upper back pain. Not ideal, but the mom has to live while the baby grows!  I hope he can help you and set your mind back to rest. It is going to be ok!

  4. try not to worry it does sound like something i've had but that was more the top of my legs and through my bum, it got to the point where i was finding it hard to get up... also i do have some hip pain, and it makes it very painful to roll on to that side, i've just put it down to my body getting ready for baby.... i'm 27 weeks and have probably had it since about 20 weeks

if it is causing you concern, you're absolutely doing the right thing by seeing the doc... good luck

  5. i am so sorry to here that i am not nor have i ever experienced that but i just wanted to say i am so sorry to hear that i am 23 weeks pregnant hope mines does not start
