can i sand plywood guitar plywood that they use for the body my moms being a r****d

You need to use the right grit of sandpaper, depending on what you're doing.  However, there shouldn't be a problem sanding in general.  The Guitar Reranch helped me to refinish a solid body bass, and an acoustic bass that I own.  I wouldn't think that a guitar would be much different.

No you can't the grain will split and will go completely horrible.
